Questions

When do tickets go on sale?

Official details and programming are being prepared, and will be published before sales open. You can register on our newsletter to stay informed!

What does each pass include?

The festival pass allows you to attend all the screenings of the AFRIFF festival, from November 1-7, in multiple cinemas accross Lagos. The Market Badges are dedicated to the AFCM (Afriff Film and Content Market), with multiple tiers and benefits available, from Nov 2-5, at Twin Waters, Lekki.

What is the refund policy?

AFRIFF can refund you up to 24h before the festival begins. During the festival days, from 1st to 7th November, no refund is available.

What's the difference between AFRIFF and the market AFCM?

AFRIFF is the festival: seven days of screenings, premieres, masterclasses and the Globe Awards, from 1–7 November across Lagos. The AFCM (AFRIFF Film and Content Market) is the industry side: four days of meetings, deal-making and showcases, from 2–5 November at Twin Waters, Lekki. You can attend one, or both with the right badge.

Can I attend the festival if I am not a film professional?

Absolutely. The Festival Access pass is open to everyone — film lovers, students and festival goers alike. No professional credentials are required.

How to attend the screenings?

Get a Festival Access pass, then book your seats once the programme opens. Screenings take place in multiple cinemas across Lagos, from 1–7 November. The full schedule is published on the official site of the festival.

I am a foreigner, how can I come to Nigeria for the AFRIFF Festival?

Check the visa requirements for your nationality with the Nigerian embassy or the Nigeria Immigration Service, and book your trip early. Lagos is served by Murtala Muhammed International Airport.  If you need a supporting document for your visa application, reach out to info@afriff.com or through our contact page.
