Registration

Industry Program Registration Process & Rules  

Industry Sessions: At AFRIFF, industry sessions are usually

  • 60 to 90 minutes panel discussions with 4 to 6 speakers and one moderator 

  • 45 min to 60 minutes fireside chat between 1 or 2 speakers and a moderator 

 

There are between 3 to 5 industry sessions - of roughly 90 minutes each -  per day from November 6 (Day 2) to November 10 (Day 6)  at AFRIFF 2023 . AFRIFF 2023 offers a total of 26 industry sessions, you are welcome to register for free for a maximum of 3 sessions per day.

Activities & Business Networking Events: There are at least 3 networking events per day organized by AFRIFF partners. AFRIFF participants can register for at least 1 activity or networking function per day. Access to these activities are by invitation only. You can register to be shortlisted. If shortlisted, you will receive an individual confirmation for the event you have elected to attend. 

AFRIFF ISANR (Industry Sessions, Activities & Networking Registration)

Without proof of ISANR (Industry Sessions, Activities & Networking Registration), you may be barred access to the session.  Please follow the simple steps to confirm your AFRIFF ISANR and receive confirmation by email. AFRIFF ISANR is open from November 2nd to November 9th, 2023

ISANR Process 

Step 1

  • Select the references for 3 sessions you want to attend each day 

  • Select the references for the networking activity you are interested in

Step 2: Complete the registration process

Step 3: Receive your confirmation email 

Step 4: Show your confirmation at the gate and attend the session 

​

 

Rules of access (you are invited to respect these guidelines):

  1. Please show up at least 15 minutes before the start of the session: Doors will close as soon as the moderator starts introducing the topic. 

  2. Mute your phone: If you are caught conversing during the industry session, you will be excluded from the room and banned from attending any other industry session at AFRIFF 

  3. Questions: Raise your hand, or wait for the moderator to open the floor for questions 

  4. Photos with the speakers or moderators: Wait until the session is finished, that the speakers have cleared the stage and take your picture outside the room

  5. Dress code: Business casual is the rule 

  6. Language and etiquette: Verbal or physical assaults are strictly forbidden at AFRIFF. Any disrespectful behavior will be sanctioned by a swift removal from the session and AFRIFF festival premises, and, a ban for life from attending the festival.
