Newton I. Aduaka is a Nigerian born filmmaker. He studied Art, History, and Technique of Cinema at the London Film School. He was a filmmaker in residence at both the Cinéfondation and Moulin d’Andé iin France. His acclaimed and multiple award winning films have screened at festivals across the world including the Cannes film festival, Locarno, Venice, Toronto, Sundance, Busan, Clermont-Ferrand, Oberhausen, Fespaco, San Francisco, Mill Valley, Jeu de Paume, Cinémathèque Française…etc. Aduaka is a TED Speaker, a Humanitas Prize nominee and Ford Foundation Grantee. Aduaka was named as one of 50 best living Artists by the London Independent newspaper.
