Registration for the 5th AFRIFF is now on . The festival will hold in Lagos Nigeria from the 8th – 15th November, 2015.

Before registering, read and ensure you understand the guidelines.

  • Please read through the guidelines before registering for AFRIFF 2015.
  • Festival Accreditation will take place at City Mall Lagos from the 7th of November 2015.
  • Accreditation is not guaranteed to all who register.

Industry Delegate (Actors/Festival Representative/ Filmmakers/Industry Professionals ) – N20,000 -Early Bird Registration Fee

  • Registration and participation is open to interested industry professionals all over the world for twenty thousand naira only (N20,000). This is the early-bird offer.
  • Guaranteed full access to all movie screenings, master classes, industry sessions, networking activities and the AFRIFF Globe Awards Gala.
  • You are required to make your own travel and hospitality arrangements throughout the week.


To apply for the training workshops, you must register as a trainee.

  • Registration and Participation in the Talent Dev. & Training Workshops is open to interested and qualified candidates of African origin resident anywhere in the world.
  • AFRIFF reserves the right to short-list, at her discretion, from a pool of candidates who registered to attend the training workshops.
  • AFRIFF will provide training free of charge to the short-listed candidates.
  • AFRIFF will not cover travel costs for short-listed candidates to travel to the festival in Lagos, Nigeria, whether they reside within Nigeria or outside Nigeria. Candidates are expected to make their own travel arrangements.
  • AFRIFF will provide hotel accommodation for non-resident candidates short-listed to attend the training workshops.
  • AFRIFF will provide a bus shuttle between the hotels of residence and the venues of the training workshops for non-resident candidates.
  • AFRIFF will provide Lunch for all candidates short listed to attend the training workshops at the venue of workshops.
  • AFRIFF will hand out Certificates of Attendance to all participants who attend the training workshops if they fulfil all course requirements as set out by the workshop facilitator.


Press Accreditation is available to reporters from all fields of the media (print, online, TV, radio, web TV, photography) as well as to PR agents of all films to be shown at the festival. Based on the requested credentials and documents, AFRIFF reserves the right to approve or deny accreditation.

  • During the online accreditation process you will be asked to upload digital supporting documents.
  • Access to movie screenings, master classes and industry sessions.
  • You are required to make your own travel and hospitality arrangements throughout the week.

A press card cannot replace the requested documented proof


  • Volunteering is NOT a paid position, AFRIFF expects young people interested in film to take advantage of the opportunities offered.
  • Volunteers MUST reside in Lagos, as NO provision for accommodation or inter state transportation will be made.
  • Volunteers MUST be above 18 years of age.
  • Preference will be given to Theatre arts and Film Studies students.
  • AFRIFF will provide lunch and transportation or funds in lieu of transportation for the entire period.


  • Free film screenings and select industry sessions will be available to Festivalia, however this will be 1st come 1st serve and priority will be given to Full Access Badge Holders.
