What can one pitch?

We are looking for the best creative pitch, this could be for a feature film, short film, animation, television or transmedia project. It can be an early stage concept or a fully developed project.

How does it work?

Part 1: How to pitch
This is a 1 hour workshop just before the main event. Here we teach people the do’s and don’ts of pitching, help them realise the best way to present their concept, and give tips on preparing for one’s pitch. It is strongly advised that anyone hoping to pitch at the main event, attend this workshop first. The purpose is to elevate the overall quality of the pitches presented at the main event.

Part 2: The restless pitch
This is a 2 to 3 hour live pitch session in front of our panel of experts. Participants do not need to submit their pitches before hand – we will not pre-select the pitches. Instead we will run a lottery system on the day. elegates who attend the session must leave their business cards (or names) upon entry – the host will then select cards randomly, if one’s card is chosen one will then be offer 3 minutes to pitch to the panel of experts. The Experts will then have 5 minutes to give immediate and honest feedback on the concept and presentation.
